A wardrobe is one of the few pieces of furniture you open every single morning. When it is made from solid Myanmar teak, that daily moment becomes something quietly luxurious — the warm golden grain, the smooth glide of a well-fitted drawer, the faint, clean scent of natural teak oil. In our own factory in Kengtawng, Shan State, we design and hand-build wardrobes and full walk-in closets to fit your room, your clothes, and the way you actually live.

Why solid teak for a wardrobe

Most wardrobes on the market are particle board with a printed teak look. They sag, swell in humidity, and rarely survive one move. Solid Myanmar teak is the opposite. Its natural oils make it resistant to moisture, warping, and termites — the very things that ruin a closet over the years. The grain is genuine all the way through, so an edge or a carved handle is real wood, not a glued-on film. A teak wardrobe is not a purchase you repeat; it is one you pass down.

Teak earns its reputation slowly. The same oils that protect a ship's deck keep your clothes dry and your closet sound, decade after decade.

The craft, joint by joint

Everything is built by hand. We select boards for grain and colour so doors and drawer fronts flow as one continuous pattern. Frames are joined with traditional mortise-and-tenon and dovetailed drawers — joinery that holds without relying on screws or glue alone, and only grows tighter with time. Surfaces are sanded through many grades and finished to bring out the depth of the grain rather than hide it.

Designed around your space

Because we build to order, the wardrobe answers to your room and not the other way around. Sloped attic ceilings, a tricky corner, a height that clears the cornice — all of it is measured and drawn before a single board is cut. Inside, we plan the layout with you: long-hang for dresses and coats, double-hang for shirts, drawers for folded knits, open shelves for bags, and dedicated runs for shoes.

A walk-in closet that feels like a room

A full walk-in closet is where teak truly comes into its own. Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry in solid teak turns a dressing area into the calmest room in the house — warm underfoot, soft to the touch, and beautifully lit to show off both the wood and your wardrobe. We integrate mirrors, a central island with drawers, glass-front display sections, and soft-close hardware so everything moves quietly and closes itself.

Finish and hardware that match the wood

We finish each piece to suit your home — a natural oiled surface that stays close to teak's living colour, or a deeper hand-rubbed tone for a more formal room. Brass or matte-black fittings, leather-wrapped pulls, felt-lined jewellery trays and lighting can all be specified. The result is a wardrobe that belongs to your house alone.
